Senator Sharp offered Amendment No. 1 : Page 1, line 6, after "professional services": Insert "when the procurement is solicited, administered, and obtained by employees of the institute who are located in the state" Page 1, line 9, through page 2, line 13: Delete all material and insert: "* Sec. 2. AS 36.30.850(b) is amended by adding a new paragraph to read: (33) the procurement of supplies, services, and professional services by the Alaska Seafood Marketing Institute when the procurement is solicited, administered, and obtained by employees of the institute who are located in the state." 1995-05-09 Senate Journal Page 1686 HB 116 Senator Sharp moved for the adoption of Amendment No. 1. Senator Leman objected. The question being: "Shall Amendment No. 1 be adopted?" The roll was taken with the following result: CSHB 116(L&C) Second Reading Amendment No. 1 YEAS: 9 NAYS: 10 EXCUSED: 1 ABSENT: 0 Yeas: Frank, Green, Halford, Kelly, Miller, Pearce, R.Phillips, Sharp, Taylor Nays: Adams, Duncan, Ellis, Hoffman, Leman, Lincoln, Rieger, Salo, Torgerson, Zharoff Excused: Donley Kelly changed from "Nay" to "Yea". and so, Amendment No. 1 failed. Senator Halford moved and asked unanimous consent that the bill be advanced to third reading and placed on final passage. Senator Duncan objected. The question being: "Shall the bill be advanced to third reading?" The roll was taken with the following result: CSHB 116(L&C) Advance from Second to Third Reading?
